2027 National Library of Australia Scholarships

Before proceeding, please confirm the following:

• I have read and understood the program guidelines.
• I am an Australian citizen or permanent resident who has commenced a PhD program at any university in Australia or overseas OR an overseas student who has commenced a PhD program at an Australian university.
• I will not complete my PhD in 2026.
• I have not received a research Fellowship, Scholarship or Grant from the National Library of Australia in the last five years (ie funding was received in the program rounds 2022 to 2026).
• I am able to demonstrate why my research needs to be undertaken using the collections held by the National Library of Australia.
• I agree to apply the National Library’s Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) protocols and ethical research principles to my project, where appropriate.
• I understand that incomplete applications and/or applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
